Light House Malaysia
Light House of Malaysia (LHM) is a faith-based center in Kuala Lumpur created to care for refugee children. Many of these children complete only primary school and have nowhere else to go. They often feel excluded at home, at school, and in society.
LHM was established to be a warm and welcoming place where children can rest, eat, wash, learn, and grow. The center offers both academic subjects and hands-on vocational learning, helping each child discover their gifts, confidence, and hope for the future.
The visual identity was inspired by the center’s name and mission: to guide and uplift children through God’s love. The design centers around the lighthouse as a symbol of hope, light, and protection—especially for those navigating uncertainty. The mark integrates the letter “M” to represent Malaysia, anchoring the design in both purpose and place. The identity system reflects core values of warmth, safety, dignity, and joy, all rooted in a faith-driven mission to empower young lives. The color palette expresses five emotional and spiritual themes: yellow for happiness, blue for hope, green for growth, pink for compassion, and red for love. These colors are designed to complement one another and evoke a sense of joy, warmth, and harmony throughout the brand’s visual language. All graphics and icons are thoughtfully designed to work in harmony, visually expressing the values at the heart of the center’s mission.
